The Monte is perhaps the best reasonably priced touchscreen rolled out from Samsung. It is a nice phone packed with all the features that you would ever expect from any latest phone. It is a much more mature looking mobile phone compared to Corby and the Star. It is slim enough to handle, pocket-able, rounded back and has a relatively flat front.
Features of the Monte
Some remarkable features of the Samsung S5620 Monte include double tap to zoom images, flawless accelerometer, a WiFi, 3G, FM and A-GPS. The phone has almost all the standard features that you want. It also features a front camera for 3G video calls, a large 3.0″ touchscreen, converter app, YouTube, Maps, Dictionary, Image editor, Gmail, Facebook and more.
The Samsung S5620 Monte features the same old TouchWiz UI of Samsung. The media support audio playback in MP3, AAC, AAC+, WMA formats and video in MPEG4, H.263, H.264. It also includes a 3.5mm audio jack and worked perfectly over Bluetooth giving stereo output. The 3.2 mega pixel camera lacks flash but is still a decent entry level camera.
The Samsung S5620 Monte is indeed a cheap yet decent touch screen phone. Finding a touch screen phone like Monte with all the integrated features and at such an affordable price tag is almost unfeasible.
